Job Title: Public School Clinician

  • The clinician partners with cultural brokers and care coordinators to deliver mental health services utilizing the evidence-based model Trauma Systems Therapy adapted for refugees (TST-r).

Description: Spurwink's ShifaME program seeks a highly collaborative, creative, and flexible clinician to join our team in this school-based position. The clinician will provide individual and family therapy as well as facilitate skill-based groups. This is a full-time position at Connors Elementary School, paying $59,000 to $65,500 per year based on licensure and years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and providing individual and family therapy.
  2. Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and strong networking skills are essential.
  3. Provide updates on treatment progress for managed care entries, clinical documentation, and electronic record keeping.

Qualifications:

Clinicians must be licensed in the state of Maine or eligible for licensure as an LMSW-cc, LCSW, LCPC-c, or LCPC.
