Position Overview

The Sales Operations Coordinator is a dynamic role that demands adaptability and proficiency. This individual will collaborate with the Lumber and Building Materials teams to achieve objectives, manage projects, provide administrative assistance, and foster innovative ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in a collaborative team atmosphere, utilizing effective communication to enhance productivity and contribute to team success.
  • Assist Lumber & Building Materials managers and supervisors in gathering data, expediting tasks, and completing projects efficiently.
  • Process and maintain sales orders, purchase orders, and contracts with precision.
  • Conduct audits on orders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Offer support to Traders and Specialists regarding order tracking and inquiries.
  • Prepare necessary documents, materials, presentations, and various projects as required.
  • Update and maintain member information as necessary.
  • Respond to calls, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate department.
  • Support inventory management efforts.
  • Collect freight rates for shipping and logistics.
  • Revise reports, documentation, and pricing lists as needed.
  • Coordinate meetings within the department and across the trading floor.
  • Assist with any additional tasks as requested by traders.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience in customer service is advantageous.
