Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Employee and Labor Relations Specialist to join our team at Brown University Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employee and labor relations inquiries, conducting investigations, and providing guidance to managers on performance management and conflict resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage employee and labor relations inquiries, including harassment allegations, work complaints, and investigations
  • Conduct interviews and gather information for employee relations matters
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance management and conflict resolution
  • Assist with reductions in force and union bumping process during reorganizations
  • Consult and provide guidance to managers to effectively manage and improve the performance of their staff and teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of three years of professional human resource administration experience
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred
