Job Title: Licensed Counselor IV

SCADD is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Counselor IV to provide clinical services for individuals struggling with behavioral, substance abuse, psychiatric, and emotional concerns. The successful candidate will work in our Transitional House programs, developing and implementing clinical assessments, treatment plans, groups, and discharge plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial client assessments and ongoing evaluations to inform treatment plans
  • Establish treatment plans with clients, focusing on goals, objectives, and interventions to promote recovery
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling to support clients in achieving their objectives
  • Chart results of assessments and treatment planning, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
  • Assist clients in orienting to program goals, rules, and expectations
  • Ensure insurance authorizations are accounted for and services are provided in line with treatment dates
  • Provide education and information to clients on substance use disorders and recovery resources
  • Coordinate case management needs to match services, agencies, and resources with clients
  • Provide crisis intervention services to respond to clients' needs during acute emotional and physical distress
Requirements:
  • Must be fully licensed (LMFT, LCSW, LADC, LMSW, LPC)
  • Associate licensed (LMFT-A, LPC-A) candidates may also be considered
  • Bilingualism is a plus
