Job Title: Licensed Counselor IV, Associate Licensed Counselor

Job Summary:
SCADD is seeking a compassionate and experienced licensed clinician to provide clinical services for individuals with behavioral, substance abuse, psychiatric, and/or emotional concerns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessment, treatment planning, and counseling, with a focus on promoting recovery and stability for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial client assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs and goals.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling to assist clients in achieving objectives and promoting recovery.
  • Chart results of assessments and treatment planning, writing reports, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner.
  • Assist in orienting clients to program goals, rules, and client rights upon admission.
  • Ensure insurance authorizations are accounted for and provide education and information to clients on substance use disorders and recovery resources.
  • Coordinate case management needs to match services, agencies, and resources with clients to assist with discharge planning.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to respond to clients' needs during acute emotional and/or physical distress.

Requirements:
  • Full licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LADC, LMSW, LPC) or associate licensure (LMFT-A, LPC-A).
  • Bilingualism a plus.
