Job Overview

Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking a Marketing Coordinator who will act as a vital marketing, data, and content resource across the station's Sales and Solutions teams. Occasionally, the Marketing Coordinator may oversee designated accounts in a junior Marketing Consultant capacity. The ideal candidate will be an organized multitasker with a commitment to supporting colleagues and enhancing team performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with the team of Marketing Consultants (MC) and Management to foster growth for both clients and the station.
  • Deliver exceptional administrative support to MCs and Management while providing outstanding customer service to both existing and prospective clients.
  • Work alongside MCs to fulfill advertising clients' RFP requests and oversee the ad scheduling process.
  • Conduct research initiatives to assist MCs in promoting integrated solutions to both new and existing clients.
  • Create tailored advertising solutions and related sales materials based on client requirements and market potential.
  • Handle customer account orders and billing information with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Manage preemptions and devise make-good plans to accurately reflect client delivery needs.
  • Oversee the creative process and campaign execution for television and digital solutions, including asset collection, production, and trafficking.
  • Maintain databases to proactively generate reports related to key sales outcomes and present insights to Sales and Management teams as necessary.
  • Ensure database integrity to facilitate quick data retrieval, identifying areas for increased efficiency in marketing programs and sales strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by conducting thorough business and industry analyses and reporting findings to internal teams and external clients.
  • Support business objectives by informing the sales team of upsell and account expansion opportunities.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Enthusiasm for supporting roles and contributing to team achievements.
  • Strong communication skills with peers, supervisors, and colleagues.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence effectively, regardless of authority.
  • High emotional intelligence, empathy, competitiveness, and a strong sense of urgency in delivering exceptional experiences for both internal teams and external clients.
  • Demonstrated listening skills, verbal communication, and professional writing abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and a track record of high performance in the role.
  • Capacity to collaborate with teammates to understand, analyze, and achieve necessary outcomes for assignments while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
  • Technologically proficient with the ability to navigate various internet and software platforms to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Understanding of digital reporting and analytical metrics.
  • Experience in marketing or advertising is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
