Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Community Relations and Partnerships at ContinueCare Hospital at Hendrick Medical. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and a proven track record of building and maintaining effective relationships with community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Census Building and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to build and maintain a strong census, ensuring revenue projections are met and exceeded.
  • Department Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and administer the department budget, ensuring costs are submitted for reimbursement within given time frames.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Select the most effective communication strategy for each contact, including face-to-face meetings, group presentations, direct mail, tours, and workshops. Provide regular updates to physicians, payors, and other referral sources.
  • Planning and Organization: Understand work objectives, establish priorities, anticipate and handle problems, and carry out work activities in an orderly manner to meet defined standards.
  • Assessment and Clinical Evaluation: Perform on-site clinical assessments of patients referred to the hospital to determine patient needs and appropriateness of admission, using the pre-admission assessment form, in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Referral Development and Marketing: Attend local conferences and trade shows to achieve maximum return on investment. Assist in coordinating direct mail campaigns to targeted managed care customers, with the assistance of management. Participate in referral services weekly team meetings.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Develop marketing plans and competitive analyses on time, using established reporting mechanisms and providing data and statistics as required. Complete physician profiles and territory/time management reports on time.
  • Productivity and Quality: Work on a timely basis and with good quality, effectively using own time and time of others. Show initiative and contribute to the development of new ideas or methods.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related area.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare marketing, with supervisory experience preferred.
