We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at WinnCompanies. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of our affordable senior housing community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Monitor collections, post rent payments, enforce the collection policy, and initiate legal action when required.
- Leasing and Marketing: Facilitate all aspects of apartment leasing, including touring with prospective residents, processing applications, and negotiating lease renewals.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to resident issues and complaints in a timely manner, and promote positive resident relations.
- Administrative Support: Assist in all facets of physical and financial management as needed and assigned.
- Leadership: Act as Property Manager in absence of the Manager for specified amounts of time.
- Reporting and Compliance: Prepare financial reports for the Property Manager, as well as resident correspondence and recertification notices.
- Accounts Payable: Monitor the flow of accounts payable, from issuing purchase orders to processing invoices.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: Less than 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Technical Skills: Experience with various computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills.
- Attention to Detail: Superb attention to detail.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and be trained.
- Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's degree.
- Experience: Experience in property management.
- Software Skills: Experience with Yardi or RealPage property management software.
