Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care within the scope of your licensure, training, and credentials, adhering to current standards of care and quality criteria established by the organization.
  • Engage in a comprehensive pediatric practice.
  • Prescribe or administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care to prevent or treat illnesses, diseases, or injuries.
  • Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests, analyzing records, reports, and examination data to assess patients' conditions.
  • Complete electronic medical records and necessary documentation promptly while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Contribute to the development and review of organizational policies and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, along with completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency.
  • Board certification in pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics, to be obtained within two years of graduation if newly graduated, and maintained thereafter.
  • Possession of an unrestricted license to practice in the State of Illinois.
  • Current DEA certification without restrictions.
  • Active CPR certification.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish or English/Polish is preferred.
