Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer at Kaiser Permanente, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting. This includes performing diagnostic procedures, communicating with cardiologists, and assisting patients. You will also be responsible for data entry, filing, and restocking supplies. Additionally, you will participate in on-call or standby schedules as required.

Responsibilities:

Performing diagnostic procedures using knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the age of the patient served
Communicating with cardiologists
Assisting patients and transporting them as needed
Data entry and filing
Restocking supplies and cleaning
Participating in on-call or standby schedules as required

Qualifications:

A minimum of two years of experience in a related field
A minimum of two years of education in a related field
Registration as a Cardiac Sonographer within 12 months of hire
Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with TEE, Stress Echo, and Pediatric Echosonography
Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, judgment, technical skills, initiative, communication, interpersonal skills, customer relations, and organizational relations
