Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Days, Sunnyside, 32 hours

To provide diagnostic services in a hospital setting, performing procedures in accordance with department policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Performing diagnostic procedures, including routine and emergent examinations.
- Communicating with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Assisting patients and transporting them as needed.
- Data entry, filing, and restocking supplies.
- Quality assurance functions and other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of two years of experience in a related field, or completion of an AMA-approved program and successful completion of one year of ultrasound training and certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with TEE, stress echo, and pediatric echosonography. Strong organizational and communication skills.
