Job Summary and Qualifications

The Diagnostic Sonographer PRN is a skilled professional qualified by academic and clinical training to provide patient services using diagnostic ultrasound under the supervision of a physician. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Graduate of an RDMS accredited program required
  • RDMS Abdomen Specialty, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or registry eligible within 90 days of hire
  • One year of experience or training in diagnostic ultrasound in at least two specialty areas (abdomen and OB/GYN preferred)

HCA Florida Lake City Hospital is a 113-bed acute care hospital serving Columbia, Hamilton, and Suwannee counties and surrounding communities.
