Job Description

The Center for Speech and Language is seeking a skilled Front Desk Clerk to provide top-notch customer service to our clients and visitors. This role involves managing the front desk operations, ensuring a seamless experience for all who interact with our center.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and address client inquiries and requests with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Update and maintain accurate client records in our database, utilizing strong organizational skills to ensure timely and secure data management.
  • Collect client payments and billing information, handling financial transactions with professionalism and discretion.
  • Collaborate with therapists and other staff members to ensure seamless delivery of services, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable office area at all times, adhering to high standards of professionalism and attention to detail.

Estimated Salary: $42,000 - $52,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on administrative studies or a related field.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse individuals.
  • Proficiency in computer software and experience using office equipment, with a strong understanding of technology and its applications.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines with ease.
  • Detailed-oriented and organized, with a keen eye for accuracy and a commitment to quality.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and billing procedures is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision and a high level of autonomy.
