Job Title: General Earthwork Superintendent

Quality Enterprises USA, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled General Earthwork Superintendent to lead our earthwork crews in the execution of mass excavation, detailed excavation, rough and final grading, and demolition of miscellaneous structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple earthwork crews in all aspects of work, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Communicate effectively with crew foremen, ensuring clear expectations and responsibilities are met.
  • Promote a safe work culture, adhering to OSHA and company regulations.
  • Oversee work schedules, complete feedback sessions, and prepare required daily reports and paperwork.
  • Proactively anticipate scheduling needs and potential issues, communicating with upper management as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in all aspects of earthwork, mass excavation, detailed excavation, and material management.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment.
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills, with experience in managing personnel and equipment efficiently.
  • Strong decision-making skills, with familiarity with DOT regulations and standards.
  • Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or similar field, along with five years of experience in major heavy highway or bridge construction, including at least three years as a foreman or superintendent.
  • Or, a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) along with ten years of experience in major heavy highway or bridge construction, including at least three years as a foreman or superintendent.
