General Earthwork Superintendent

Quality Enterprises USA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Earthwork Superintendent to lead our earthwork crews in the execution of mass excavation, detailed excavation, rough and final grading, and demolition of miscellaneous structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of multiple crews to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure that all assigned work progresses on schedule and within budget.
  • Communicate effectively with crew foremen, upper management, and other stakeholders to promote a safe and productive work environment.
  • Proactively anticipate scheduling needs and potential issues three weeks in advance.
  • Prepare and submit required daily reports and paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean and organized jobsite, adhering to Quality Enterprises' image and community standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least five years of experience in major heavy highway or bridge construction, including at least three years as a foreman or superintendent.
  • Experience with project management and/or construction software, including proficiency in O365 and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Valid Florida class E driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of time working outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions.
