Job Title: General Earthwork Superintendent

Quality Enterprises USA, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled General Earthwork Superintendent to lead our earthwork crews in the execution of mass excavation, detailed excavation, rough and final grading, and demolition of miscellaneous structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of multiple crews to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure that all assigned work progresses on schedule and within budget.
  • Communicate effectively with crew foremen, ensuring clear expectations and responsibilities are met.
  • Promote a safe work culture by enforcing OSHA and company regulations.
  • Oversee work schedules, complete feedback sessions, and prepare required reports and paperwork.
  • Proactively anticipate scheduling needs and potential issues, communicating with upper management as necessary.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the community through site cleanliness and promote environmental responsibility.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or similar field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in major heavy highway or bridge construction, including 3 years as a foreman or superintendent.
  • Valid Florida class E driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Proficient in O365 and Adobe Acrobat.
Competencies:
  • Proficient in all aspects of earthwork, mass excavation, detailed excavation, and material management.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment.
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to manage personnel and equipment efficiently.
  • Strong decision-making skills and familiarity with DOT regulations and standards.
