Earthwork Superintendent

People Ellipsis Partners, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Earthwork Superintendent to oversee multiple utility crews and direct project activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to manage personnel and equipment efficiently.

• Lead multiple earthwork crews in all aspects of work, ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
• Clearly communicate expectations and responsibilities to crew foremen.
• Promote a safe work culture by ensuring all crew members maintain safe working conditions according to OSHA and company regulations.
• Oversee work schedules for crews and complete feedback sessions for new superintendents.
• Proactively anticipate scheduling needs and potential issues three weeks in advance.
• Communicate with upper management on a regular basis on potential scope gaps and other job site needs.
• Prepare and submit required daily reports and paperwork.
• Maintain QE's image and positive relationship with the community through site cleanliness.
• Proactively control job costs.
• Promote environmental responsibility at the jobsite and among crew members.

• Combined education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or similar field along with five (5) years of experience in the field of major heavy highway or bridge construction including at least three (3) years of experience as a foreman or superintendent.
• Experience with project management and/or construction software.
• Proficient in O365 and Adobe Acrobat.
• Valid Florida class E driver license with acceptable driving record.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• This position will require prolonged periods of time working outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions.
