Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Implementation of Safety Programs: Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.
  • Commitment to Company Policies: Commit to the Company's policies, principles, and procedures, including Environmental, Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, discipline/corrective action, and security.
  • Planning and Assigning Work: Plan and assign work to the drafting team to meet project schedule and cost deadlines.
  • Collaboration with Technology Integration Team: Work with the Technology Integration team to ensure training and performance coincide with efficient, effective drafting practice.
  • Establishing Standards and Procedures: Aid in the establishment and maintenance of standards and procedures for generating models, drawings, and associated documents.
  • Coordinating Drafting Needs: Coordinate drafting needs with sales, engineering, and project managers to effectively deploy drafting resources.
  • Leading a Team: Lead a team of drafters to interface with customers, sales, operations, engineering, and project management to create construction documents using CAD/Revit software.
  • Performing Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in documentation management and source code testing, with a focus on software development projects. Proven experience in mechanical drafting.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, twist, and turn for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
