Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled R&D Laboratory Technician to join our interdisciplinary team. As a key member of our R&D team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with new feature/product development, improving processes, and metrics for our FDA-cleared product. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation at Avails Medical and be part of our first product launch and additional products in our pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, optimize, and develop new products and features.
  • Conduct experiments to guide product development, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Develop and transfer assembly, manufacturing, and inspection processes from R&D to production.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for R&D, quality, and manufacturing processes.
  • Work closely with microbiology, systems engineering, data science, and quality/regulatory teams on project planning, execution, and data presentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with biological systems/assays is preferred.
  • Python programming/scripting is a plus.
  • Basic wet laboratory bench skills required.
