About the Role:

The Head of Performance Marketing position is ideal for a metrics-oriented individual with a solid history of executing effective multi-channel growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a substantial performance marketing budget, adhering to strict cost-per-acquisition benchmarks to drive sustainable growth across various channels, including wholesale, digital, retail, and marketplace.
  • Enhance the media strategy through a test-and-learn methodology, ensuring we capitalize on all available acquisition opportunities.
  • Manage our digital marketing agency, consistently pushing for top-tier acquisition strategies.
  • Collaborate with the retention marketing team to foster loyalty among new customers, meeting defined repeat purchase targets.
  • Work alongside all trading channels to create exceptional customer experiences that prioritize conversion.
  • Advise product development teams on necessary actions to meet acquisition objectives, providing insightful analyses to inform future purchasing decisions.
  • Continuously assess customer lifetime values based on recruitment channels and products to refine our customer acquisition strategies as our offerings expand.
  • Lead the strategy for performance creative, partnering with brand and creative teams to develop marketing materials tailored to various acquisition tactics.
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaign briefs throughout the year to achieve integrated outcomes, working closely with site, creative, product, marketing, and analytics teams to execute campaigns effectively.
  • Balance immediate performance targets with long-term strategic planning to enhance brand visibility while executing exemplary marketing campaigns to drive business growth.
  • Maintain a data-centric approach, focusing on improving data capture and analysis to support our growth objectives.
  • Oversee the evaluation, implementation, and management of marketing technology systems, including incrementality, attribution, and analytics.
  • Embrace a test-and-learn philosophy in all initiatives to stay ahead in the dynamic landscape of performance marketing.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in performance marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience managing a significant performance marketing budget.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving key growth metrics (e.g., CPA, CAC, ROAS, LTV).
  • In-depth knowledge of all digital marketing channels.
  • Proficient in web analytics tools, such as GA4.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions, particularly with brand marketing and creative teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the capability to develop and execute long-term plans while also being hands-on when necessary.
  • Able to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
