Job Overview

SimIS Inc. is seeking an experienced event coordinator to join our team as a strategic event manager.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple events and coordinating with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and testing registration processes, providing support to registrants, and coordinating with budget and finance teams to develop attendee payment solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and testing registration processes, including multiple pathways and landing pages
  • Providing direct email support to registrants regarding registration and access/use of the CVENT Event Application
  • Coordinating with the ACT office of budget and finance to develop an attendee payment solution in CVENT if conference fees are applicable
  • Developing and managing event agendas and speaker lists in CVENT under the direction of the respective event project offices
  • Managing media and document libraries in CVENT and SharePoint for all events as directed
  • Developing, managing, and updating content in Attendee Hub under the direction of the respective event OPRs
  • Managing the registration approvals process in coordination with Protocol Office as required
Requirements
  • Three years' experience in the field of event management
  • Competency as a user and administrator of the CVENT platform and all embedded functionalities
  • Two (2) years of recent experience where use of CVENT has been the primary role/duty
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) in SharePoint administration for a large organization, with proven ability to design, set up, and manage SharePoint portals and workflows while complying with organizational processes, practices, and tools
  • Demonstrated strong organizational, planning, written, and verbal skills

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience.
