About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Sales Director to join our team at IDEXX. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving regional growth and leading a team of sales professionals to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build a High-Performing Sales Team
    • Develop a sales team culture that fosters cooperation, adaptability, and sales excellence.
    • Minimize voluntary turnover and maximize retention and career development of sales professionals.
  • Drive Regional Growth
    • Develop a region-specific business plan to achieve sales goals.
    • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals within an expense budget.
  • Lead Change Management
    • Lead change management in a dynamic changing environment and in alignment with IDEXX Guiding Principles and business values.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Work with customer and product marketing and other functions to support advancements in strategic direction, new product definition, and sales programs.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific or related discipline, Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience
    • Typically, 5-8 years Field Sales experience required.
    • 6-10+ years of sales management experience directly managing an outside sales team(s) preferred.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others effectively and appropriately.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the willingness and ability to work collaboratively with others in a matrix environment.
    • Performance management skills, including coaching, feedback, and individual professional development to enhance sales performance and customer franchise.
