About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Conrad Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in the preparation and production of all hotel meals, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation.
  • Implement menu selections for special banquet themes and events, in partnership with the Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance, providing supervision, counseling, and evaluations as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail.
