HR Business Partner for Manufacturing Operations

The QTI Group is collaborating with a prominent organization in Wisconsin to recruit a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) dedicated to supporting production operations.
Focusing on labor relations and employee engagement, the HRBP will offer strategic guidance to management regarding the effective implementation of collective bargaining agreements and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Labor Relations: Assist in the preparation for Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) negotiations by collecting data and providing recommendations throughout the process. Administer and interpret collective bargaining and non-union agreements. Represent the organization in grievance and arbitration proceedings.
Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to address employee concerns and guide management in fostering constructive dialogue and conflict resolution. Enhance employee engagement through the execution of initiatives aimed at improving morale and supporting talent development. Investigate employee relations issues and devise strategies to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and encourage collaboration.
Talent Management: Serve as a strategic collaborator with plant leadership to support initiatives for the development of frontline leaders and employee retention, including onboarding, career advancement, and succession planning. Partner with HR and Operations leaders to anticipate and plan for future staffing requirements. Analyze turnover data, identify trends, and propose enhancements to the employee experience to improve retention rates.
Business Partnership: Contribute to departmental goal-setting and execution, ensuring that HR strategies align with organizational objectives. Promote transparent communication between HR and plant leadership to keep them informed of upcoming HR initiatives and address any employee or labor-related issues.
Coach plant leaders on essential policies and processes, including talent planning, learning and development, and performance management to foster employee engagement and growth.
Support initiatives aimed at optimizing roles and processes to improve efficiency and adaptability to changing business needs and cultural evolution.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required for corporate meetings and visits to various operational sites.
Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years of HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a Generalist or HRBP role. Strong background in labor relations, particularly with collective bargaining agreements, is highly preferred. Proficient in coaching and advising leaders on employee and labor relations issues. Skilled in talent management, including performance management and career development strategies. Experience in facilitating group sessions such as training and orientation is beneficial. Familiarity with HRIS systems is desired; experience with UKG is a plus. Act as a cultural advocate by fostering trust through effective communication, conflict resolution, and follow-through. Serve as a resource for HR-related inquiries, including benefits, recruitment, and payroll, which are managed by centralized centers of excellence. A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field is preferred.
