The QTI Group is collaborating with a prominent organization in Wisconsin to recruit a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to assist in managing operations at a production facility.

This role emphasizes labor relations and employee engagement, providing essential support to management in the effective implementation of collective bargaining agreements and organizational policies.


Key Responsibilities:


Labor Relations: Aid in the preparation for Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) renewals by collecting data and offering insights during negotiations. Administer and clarify collective bargaining agreements and non-union work contracts. Represent the organization in grievance and arbitration proceedings.

Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to address employee issues and guide managers in fostering constructive communication and conflict resolution. Enhance employee engagement through initiatives aimed at improving morale and supporting talent development. Investigate employee relations concerns and devise strategies to improve communication, resolve disputes, and encourage collaboration.

Talent Management: Collaborate with plant leadership to implement programs focused on the development of frontline leaders and strategies for employee retention and performance management, including onboarding, career advancement, and succession planning. Work alongside HR and Operations leaders to anticipate and prepare for future staffing requirements. Analyze turnover rates, identify patterns, and provide recommendations to improve the employee experience and increase retention.

Business Partnership: Participate in setting and executing departmental objectives, ensuring that HR strategies align with organizational goals. Promote open communication between HR and plant leadership to keep them informed of HR initiatives and address any employee or labor-related concerns.

Coach plant leaders on essential policies and procedures, including talent management, training, and performance evaluation to foster employee engagement and development.

Support initiatives aimed at refining roles and processes to improve efficiency and adaptability in response to evolving business needs and cultural shifts.

Travel: Occasional travel may be required for visits to the corporate office and various plants.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a Generalist or HRBP role.
- Strong background in labor relations, particularly with collective bargaining agreements.
- Proficient in coaching and advising management on employee and labor relations issues.
- Experienced in talent management, including performance evaluation and career development strategies.
- Familiarity with facilitating group training sessions and new employee orientations.
- Experience with HRIS systems is preferred; knowledge of UKG is a plus.
- Act as a cultural advocate by fostering trust through effective communication, conflict resolution, and follow-through.
- Serve as a resource for various HR-related inquiries, including benefits, recruitment, and payroll, while these functions are managed by centralized centers of excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field is preferred.
