You will represent the WeDoTrash brand within the community and serve as the link between our company and clients. Position Overview - Service Team Member
Expectations

The Service Team Member is expected to demonstrate reliability, adhere to company policies, and maintain consistency in their work. As the representative of the company, it is crucial for the Service Team Member to arrive prepared and conduct themselves professionally while on duty.
  • The Service Team Member will be proactive, taking initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Must be willing to engage in physically demanding work and take pride in completing tasks effectively.
  • Exhibit self-confidence and be open to coaching.
  • Dependable and consistent in attendance, with clear communication if unable to report.
  • Possess a strong work ethic, integrity, and accountability.
  • This role is physically demanding; backgrounds in military, landscaping, waste management, or construction are advantageous. Educators, coaches, or first responders may also find this position suitable.

Responsibilities

The Service Team Member is responsible for the nightly collection of waste and recycling items door-to-door within designated apartment communities.
  • Collect waste and recycling items from residents and transport them to the onsite compactor or dumpster.
  • Ensure cleanliness around trash compactors, dumpsters, and trash chute areas.
  • Gather loose and bagged waste from the vicinity of the compactor/dumpster.
  • Document and report nightly hours worked, resident non-compliance, or other issues using WeDoTrash's mobile application.
  • Operate with reliability and consistency, as these traits are essential for maintaining service quality and the WeDoTrash reputation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must possess reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • Proficiency in speaking and writing in English.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Must have a smartphone with a data plan and the capability to download applications.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance are mandatory.
