Position Overview - Service Team Member
Expectations


The Service Team Member is expected to demonstrate reliability, adhere to all company protocols, and maintain consistency in their performance. As the representative of the company, it is crucial for the Service Team Member to arrive prepared for work and to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
  • The Service Team Member will be proactive, take initiative, and require minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to engage in physically demanding work and satisfaction in completing tasks effectively.

  • Reliable and consistent in attendance, or communicate in advance if unable to work.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and accountability.
  • This role is physically intensive. Candidates with backgrounds in military service, landscaping, waste management, or construction are particularly well-suited, as are educators, coaches, or first responders.

Responsibilities


The Service Team Member is responsible for the nightly collection of waste and recycling items from door to door within designated apartment communities.
  • Collect waste and recycling items door to door within assigned communities and transport them to the onsite compactor or dumpster.
  • Ensure cleanliness around trash compactors, dumpsters, and trash chute areas.
  • Gather loose and bagged waste from the vicinity of the compactor/dumpster.
  • Record and report nightly hours worked, resident non-compliance, or other issues using WeDoTrash's mobile application.
  • Operate with reliability and consistency, as these traits are essential to uphold the expected service level and WeDoTrash's reputation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must possess reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Proficient in speaking and writing in English.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must have a smartphone with a data plan and the capability to download applications.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance are required.
