Branch Operations Support Coordinator

The primary role of this position is to oversee a variety of reports aimed at ensuring both employee and customer adherence to specific regulatory standards, alongside addressing certain risk management concerns. Additionally, this position serves as a vital resource for the banking centers, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of the Bank's operations, core systems, and all relevant policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily reviews of designated depository new accounts and maintenance reports to ensure proper authorization and that account holders have completed the necessary documentation, which must be uploaded to the Image Center.
- Maintain accurate paper and electronic documentation within the department to demonstrate compliance with review processes, ensuring all records are signed off by a supervisor or designated manager for periodic audits.
- Review and distribute the Deposit Exception Report daily to verify that any missing documentation is accurately recorded as per established procedures.
- Examine original Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) documentation, ensuring all necessary files, including applications and forms, are uploaded to the Image Center.
- Verify the accuracy of contributions, distributions, and closure transactions on IRA accounts in Horizon, ensuring correct IRS reporting codes are utilized.
- Maintain and review all Depository Rate Variance Forms received by Branch Operations for accuracy and completeness.
- Review Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) documentation in BAM daily, ensuring completeness and proper filing.
- Manage file documentation for all DEBIT/ATM increase forms, confirming completeness, customer signatures, and appropriate internal approvals.
- Provide support to banking centers, possessing comprehensive knowledge of operations impacting customers, new account openings, teller transactions, and necessary approvals.
- Troubleshoot teller and CSR system issues, ensuring timely resolutions, including case submissions and management.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of all bank products and services, capable of discussing details and addressing inquiries with assistance from management as needed.
- Assist in reviewing teller cash reconcilement general ledgers for approval.
- Develop procedures, job aids, and forms in collaboration with various departments, subject to managerial approval.
- Facilitate training sessions (via Zoom, in-person, etc.) on branch procedures and processes, including new accounts and teller operations, as well as products and services.
- Support various projects, assignments, tasks, and initiatives as directed by management.
- Complete ongoing training to maintain required compliance knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED required; an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a retail branch banking or branch operations environment is required.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated, capable of working consistently and productively with minimal supervision, and possessing strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of traditional banking operational policies and procedures is essential.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, projects, and overall workload effectively.
- Strong time management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word are necessary.
- Maintain excellent relationships with team members across all departments and branch locations.
