About the Role

Universal Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team as a Home Health Pediatric Caregiver. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to pediatric clients in the comfort of their own homes, promoting their health, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as assisting with ambulation and exercises.
  • Assist with administering medications, as directed, and perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services.
  • Develop and implement a realistic, goal-oriented Plan of Care, in collaboration with the Administrator/Clinical Manager.
  • Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures, and maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients.
  • Document care or services furnished, and submit all documentation to the office according to dictated time constraints.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Certification
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance coverage
  • BLS certification required but may be obtained after hire
  • COVID-19 vaccine compliance
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
