Pediatric Occupational Therapist

At T & K Pediatric Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in Jamestown, ND.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to children with developmental needs. As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote skill development and carryover of therapy techniques at home.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate children's physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities to determine their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Create and implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve motor skills, coordination, sensory integration, and cognitive abilities.
- Monitor and record progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and documenting patient's achievements.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy.
- Provide education and support to parents and caregivers about strategies to promote skill development and carryover of therapy techniques at home.
Requirements:
- A master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- A state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in North Dakota.
- Prior experience working with children, preferably in a pediatric setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, parents, and caregivers.
