Job Title: Home Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Caregiver to provide in-home care to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities.

Job Summary

The Home Caregiver will assist clients with personal care, administer medication, and provide companionship. The caregiver will plan and follow a daily care schedule with clients, modify care plans as prescribed by medical professionals, and report on any new conditions or needs that may arise.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating
  • Follow a prescribed healthcare plan, which may include assisting with exercise and administering medication
  • Ensure clients' homes are organized according to their needs and safety measures are in place
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks
  • Provide mobility assistance if required, such as helping clients in and out of beds, chairs, or wheelchairs
  • Transport or escort clients to medical and other appointments
  • Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • When applicable, valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle required
