Pediatric Home Health Administrator

The Administrator is a key leader at Universal Pediatrics, responsible for managing operations and prioritizing people and relationships. This role focuses on creating a positive work environment, enhancing client and family experiences, and promoting teamwork for exceptional care.
The Administrator oversees daily operations, facilitating strong communication between the governing body and staff. They are committed to hiring qualified personnel, nurturing their development through targeted training and performance evaluations, and ensuring a motivated and skilled team.
The Administrator maintains the accuracy of public information materials and marketing initiatives, implementing a budgeting system that aligns with Universal Pediatrics' mission while supporting staff needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with all office operations to foster open communication among the interdisciplinary team.
- Develop and implement regional goals and objectives that reflect Universal Pediatrics' mission and enhance the well-being of both staff and clients.
- Verify that a Clinical Manager is available during all operating hours.
- Assume 24-hour responsibility for supervising services, ensuring that every client receives compassionate and high-quality care.
- Employ qualified personnel according to company policy, federal, state, and local laws to meet the needs of each individual client and ensure continuity of care.
- Responsible for adequate orientation and training of all direct reports.
- Oversee and maintain personnel file and medical chart audits to ensure that all information is current and compliant with company policies and federal, state, and local laws.
- Monitor client staffing as scheduled by the Scheduler, and/or Clinical Manager/Office Manager in accordance with the physician's Plan of Care (POC).
- Assist with the hiring process to ensure timely and consistent staff coverage in the event of a staffing failure.
- Conduct and document 90-day and annual performance evaluations, ensuring they are completed on time.
- Facilitate weekly staff meetings to promote teamwork and communication.
- Provide educational opportunities, including in-services, and may become CPR Instructor Certified to empower staff through training and competency testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in healthcare management with a strong focus on people and service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse groups.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage conflict effectively.
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification.
- Computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office products, are essential.
- Must communicate well both orally and in writing in English.
