Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and performance of the following:

  • Ariba Contracts Compliance: Ensure compliance with Ariba contracts platform.
  • Contract Framework and Workflow: Work closely with the Legal team to ensure proper contract framework and workflow structure in Ariba.
  • Agreement Reviews: Reviews agreements for language in accordance with the agreed-upon legal matrix.
  • Contract Hierarchy Management: Maintains the integrity of contract hierarchies in Ariba.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Acts as the subject matter expert for the Ariba contracts process.
  • Supplier Enablement: Coordinate with representatives from other departments and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of MSAs and sub-agreements.
  • Contracting Process Improvement: Provide leading practices and guidance on the contracting process and best use of Ariba module.
  • Ariba Implementation: Coordinate with Ariba administrator and Ariba support for the implementation of enhancements.
  • Supplier Enablement and Catalog Management: Coordinate with the supplier enablement and catalog management team to ensure suppliers are able to transact on the Ariba network upon contract completion.
  • Business Requirements to Functional Designs: Translate business requirements to functional designs and have the ability to explain/work with the IT programming team to complete the implementation.
  • Testing and Rollouts: Assist with any testing activities and work with the global team to coordinate other rollouts.
  • Reporting and Dashboarding: Responsible for providing reporting and dashboarding to provide transparency in the overall contracting process.
  • Ariba User Experience: Improve the overall Ariba user experience by being the point person for training, change management, and problem resolution.
  • Internal and External Audits: Support both internal and external auditors and work closely with internal controls to ensure J-SOX compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with one or more of the following: Contracts Management and Review, Contracts Paralegal experience, Contracts Negotiation.
  • Contract Knowledge: Exhibit deep knowledge and interpretation of contract language.
  • Business Decision Making: Ability to make quality business decisions and action those decisions.
  • Ariba and ERP Experience: Experience with SAP ARIBA and with a large ERP is required, preferably with SAP.
  • Emerging Financial Technologies: Understanding emerging financial technologies, tools, and products is required.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills are required.
