Job Summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing financial and operational results, providing financial guidance to general managers and teams, and ensuring the financial integrity of location results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analytical review and corrective action: review financial and operational results, compare actual results to rated (contract), plan, and/or forecast, and act as a financial advisor to general managers and teams.
  • Financial coordination of contract: negotiate and establish financial risks and rewards, establish cost controls and billing procedures, and establish customer reporting processes.
  • Financial reporting: ensure the financial integrity of location results and coordinate between headquarters and field.
  • Planning: develop monthly forecasts and annual plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required; Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
  • Seven (07) years or more managing finance and accounting, including inventory management and control, financial analysis and planning, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing required.
  • Functional knowledge of WMS systems and intermediate level required.
  • Working understanding of supply chain management and logistics process and intermediate level required.
  • Advanced computer and spreadsheet knowledge (Excel) advanced level required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
