We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Representative to join our team at Premier Health. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for billing services and charges to the appropriate payer, as well as validating receipt of electronic and hard copy claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Billing assigned claims in a timely and accurate manner
  • Validating receipt of electronic and hard copy claims
  • Reviewing assigned accounts receivable and monitoring trends, payment, and other relevant factors
  • Maintaining good customer service with patients and payers
  • Interfacing with office staff and performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 2-3 years' experience in Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party billing procedures or equivalent
  • Good organization skills and ability to work well with others
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Knowledge of reimbursement and billing guidelines
Working Conditions

This is a general office environment with a climate-controlled setting. The successful candidate may be required to work some evenings and weekend hours to complete projects or meet the needs of the department.

Organizational Standards
  • Billing and transmitting claims in a timely and accurate manner
  • Monitoring assigned aging reports for payment, including under and/or overpayments
  • Identifying trends of specific payers
  • Maintaining customer service with internal and external customers
