Position Overview:
Under general supervision, the Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of heavy construction machinery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to and actively promoting all Safety policies and procedures, including reporting all accidents, incidents, and near misses to uphold our primary Core Value – Safety first in everything we do.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing issues with both on-road and off-road construction equipment, ranging from small to large machinery.
  • Performing routine preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment as required.
  • Conducting minor welding tasks as necessary.
  • Submitting approved parts request forms.
  • Executing field service repairs as needed.
  • Possessing a minimum of five (5) years of experience working on various construction equipment.
  • Exhibiting flexibility in work schedule.
  • Having personal tools and a valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.
