Stepp's Towing & Heavy Transport is seeking a skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, and other critical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other components to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Inspect and maintain heavy trucks, buses, and other equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Document maintenance activities and repair work to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Test drive vehicles to ensure they are running properly and safely.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fleet Diesel Mechanic or in a related role.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
