Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Avangrid. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial activities within the company, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the accounting close process for standalone companies, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support the development of accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
