Overview of the Senior Accountant Role

This Senior Accountant role reports directly to the Director of Accounting and is responsible for full-cycle general accounting and review, including creating and posting journal entries. The ideal candidate will have experience equivalent to 2-4 years and/or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/related degree.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for budget analysis, tracking expenditures, and allocating expenses across departments. They will also utilize analytical skills to identify process improvements, assist in process documentation, and assist with annual audit and create work papers.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills, take ownership of projects and assignments, and be able to exercise excellent judgment and establish effective working relationships and professional rapport.
