About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Electronics Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering team, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of power electronics manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement standardized processes and equipment for power electronics manufacturing, aligning with global powertrain strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering to achieve working product designs that meet manufacturing design specifications and feasibility expectations.
  • Support all test processes, including leak test, in-process test, final test, and software flash.
  • Troubleshoot production issues impacting FTT and warranty, determining corrective actions for parts, assembly processes, and test equipment.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to power electronics manufacturing and testing (soldering, welding, etc.).
  • Knowledge of electrified powertrain component function.
  • Prior experience working in ISO clean room environment manufacturing power electronics.
  • Familiarization with ESD controls and measures for handling power electronics.
  • Data-driven mentality and decision-making process.
  • Application experience in computers and electronics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to learn product function.
  • Handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to a dynamic working environment and diverse team.
