Job Overview

The Spot Holding Company LLC is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Staff member. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily tasks, and ensuring a smooth and efficient overall operation of the gym.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience and Service:
    • Provide a positive and welcoming experience for all clients, ensuring a friendly and helpful presence at the desk.
    • Manage customer interactions effectively, handle issues, and escalate as necessary.
    • Be present and available to clients at all times while on the clock.
    • Ensure clients receive the right product by understanding their needs and making appropriate recommendations.
    • Maximize client contact opportunities to promote sales through various channels.
  • Facility Risk Management, Maintenance, and Operations:
    • Ensure a risk-managed facility and customer experience by following proper protocols.
    • Understand procedures and be responsible for opening and closing the gym, including managing the cash drawer and filing necessary paperwork.
    • Execute day-to-day operations at the Front Desk, including managing retail and pro shop tasks.
    • Communicate POS issues and membership data errors to clients and the Membership Manager.
  • Daily Task Completion:
    • Execute all daily tasks responsibly to ensure the smooth and efficient overall operation of the gym.
    • Handle client check-in and payments, manage general access, answer client questions, and solve problems as they arise.
Requirements
  • Experience as a climber with belay certifications and an understanding of climbing techniques, terminology, and equipment.
  • Able to qualify customers to belay and lead climb.
  • Must be friendly, outgoing, and people-oriented with a strong commitment to above-and-beyond customer service.
  • Strong communication skills: interpersonal, public relations, and conflict resolution.
