Your Role...

Reporting to the Director of Audit & By-Title Reporting, this position is pivotal in managing the planning, coordination, and oversight of audits within the WBTV Group.

Key Responsibilities...

  • Facilitate negotiations regarding audit settlements with various networks.
  • Maintain a comprehensive tracking schedule for license fees to ensure accurate revenue capture.
  • Prepare necessary audit documentation to ensure timely completion of audits for assigned networks.
  • Review license agreements and associated correspondence to verify the completeness and accuracy of billings. Generate billing summaries for auditable items.
  • Calculate Union Escalations for billing to networks.
  • Address and respond to audit inquiries effectively.
  • Develop and maintain an organized system to monitor audits from initial fieldwork through to settlement, promptly identifying and escalating any issues.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and special projects as required.
  • Audit costs associated with productions by co-producers.
  • Document each audit process to serve as a reference for future audits and risk assessments.

Qualifications & Skills...

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in the entertainment industry is preferred.
  • Background in movie or television production accounting is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
  • Proficiency in core Office 365 applications (OneNote, SharePoint).
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with external auditors and all levels of management.
  • Capability to comprehend and interpret legal agreements.
