Job Purpose

The Battery Sales Specialist is a key contact point with wholesale customers, responsible for promoting NAPA battery products in an assigned region. This role involves establishing and maintaining good relations with customers, coordinating sales activities, and maintaining market development and expansion plans.

Essential Functions
  • Establish and maintain good relations with NAPA Battery DEBI customers.
  • Coordinate sales activities among multiple stores.
  • Maintain a market development and expansion plan.
  • Conduct deliveries in a consistent, safe, and timely manner.
  • Work with the Regional Manager to develop, update, and execute sales plans.
  • Perform other assignments and duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred.
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical.
  • Capable of operating TAMS point-of-sale system and cataloging.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with people.
  • Capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers (both visually and aurally) and remembering their sequence.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy as well as ability to multi-task and is self-motivated.
Other Requirements
  • Capable of lifting and moving merchandise of up to 130 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk, or sit and drive, for entire work shift.
  • Ability to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves with use of stool or ladder when necessary.
  • Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.
