Job Summary

The IT Coordinator - Junior Trainer is responsible for providing technical support, training, and outreach initiatives to our staff. This includes delivering in-person and remote training/presentations on new software, conducting new employee orientation, and maintaining project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to staff members, including troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues.
  • Training and Outreach: Develop and deliver training programs to staff on new software, systems, and technologies.
  • Project Management: Assist in managing projects, including gathering technical requirements, testing new software, and maintaining project timelines.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties, such as compiling weekly team reports, maintaining meeting agendas, and taking notes.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT inventory, including hardware and software.
  • Audit and Compliance: Assist in reviewing and filing audit reports, sending reminders, and performing preliminary audit reviews.

Requirements

  • Eligibility: Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience in IT Coordinator or a similar role.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to write clearly and translate technical jargon into user-friendly information.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with Windows desktop end-users, Office 365, Office apps, SharePoint, and Cloud platforms.

Working Conditions

This position requires a hybrid work schedule with in-person requirements on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in our Washington, DC office. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet, and the physical demands of this role include sitting and using motor skills.
