Job Title: Director of Donor Relations

Job Summary:

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Donor Relations to join our team. As a key member of our development department, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with major donors, identifying new opportunities for growth, and developing strategies to increase donations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive donor relations strategy to engage and retain major donors
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and staff
  • Identify new opportunities for growth and develop strategies to increase donations
  • Collaborate with the development team to develop and implement fundraising campaigns
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in donor relations or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in building and maintaining relationships with major donors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
