Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dining Services Coordinator to join our team at Compass Group USA. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient meal service, ensuring that every patient receives high-quality food and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient meal service, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery, and special requests
  • Ensure that employees are adequately trained and units are properly staffed to provide service
  • Oversee systems and processes to ensure that the strategic and operational objectives of the dining service are accomplished
  • Assist in the selection and orientation of employees and oversee training of dining service staff
  • Work with nutrition operators to ensure that patient meal selections meet dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Evaluate patient meal selection, tray completion, tray delivery, and tray retrieval process on a daily basis
  • Responsive to patient needs at all times and resolve patient concerns or complaints immediately
Requirements
  • Experience in guest service, grill, deli, catering, high-volume cooking, or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
