Position Details:
This role is designed for individuals eager to gain knowledge about Medicaid benefits, eligibility, and claims processing to effectively support Medicaid recipients and healthcare providers.

- Utilizing a computerized system to respond to inquiries from Virginia Medicaid members and providers in a call center setting, adhering to established scripts and procedures.
- Collecting information, assessing caller needs, researching and resolving inquiries, and documenting interactions.
- Providing clear and accurate information regarding eligibility, claim status, and provider enrollment.
- Following documented policies and procedures for call handling and escalations.
- Acting as an advocate for both Medicaid recipients and providers to ensure their needs are addressed.
- Verifying documents and images as needed.
- Completing required training assignments.
- Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, or Health Insurance is advantageous.
- Familiarity with computer systems for data entry and database management.
- Previous experience in a call center or professional office environment.
- Knowledge of Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) is beneficial.
- Bilingual candidates, particularly Spanish speakers, are preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Eligibility to work in the United States is mandatory.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Access to high-speed internet and a quiet workspace free from distractions.
