We are seeking a skilled Medicaid Billing Specialist to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely submission of claims to third-party payers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and submit claims electronically and manually in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Complete all payer-specific edits and resolve issues associated with incomplete claims.
- Submit adjustment claims to Medicaid through online systems and attach supporting documents as required.
- Perform daily reports and record productivity of claims billed.
- Participate in monthly in-services and educational training as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of billing experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Customer-focused and detail-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with medical billing and 1-3 years of healthcare business office experience preferred.
