JOB SUMMARY

As the primary strategic business leader of the property, you will oversee all operational aspects, including managing overall property performance, food and beverage services, sales and marketing strategies, profitability, revenue generation, and human resources activities. Your role is pivotal in delivering a strong return on investment for both Marriott International and property ownership. You will lead the team in developing and executing comprehensive property-wide strategies, ensuring the brand service strategy and initiatives are implemented effectively to meet or exceed guest expectations. Building relationships with key clients and engaging in the sales process is essential.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

• A 2-year degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; with 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk operations, sales and marketing, or related areas.

OR

• A 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; with 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk operations, sales and marketing, or related areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Overseeing Property Operations

• Ensure service programs are effectively implemented and adhered to.

• Provide timely feedback to management and staff regarding service and operational standards.

• Manage labor flow between departments to support effective budget management and profitability goals.

• Prepare for quality assurance audits and follow up on property guest satisfaction scores.

• Act as a project manager for capital improvement initiatives.

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.

Managing Food and Beverage Services

• Monitor food and beverage forecasts and inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize profit margins.

• Establish relationships with local vendors to support operational needs.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards in food and beverage operations.

Sales and Marketing Strategy

• Collaborate with the Regional Sales office to implement effective sales strategies.

• Identify innovative marketing solutions that align with brand and property needs.

• Manage relationships with key accounts and develop new revenue streams through property amenities.

Profitability Management

• Oversee controllable costs associated with various operations.

• Analyze property performance using financial and non-financial data to communicate results.

• Initiate actions to support revenue and profitability objectives.

Human Resource Management

• Lead associates through property changes and support their professional development.

• Conduct performance reviews and manage recruitment efforts to attract qualified candidates.

Stakeholder Relationship Management

• Keep stakeholders informed about property performance in financials and guest satisfaction.

• Prepare and present reports using performance data to demonstrate the impact of business strategies.

Additional Responsibilities
