Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic HR Business Partner to join our team in Princeton, New Jersey. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing employee relations, onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and administering employee benefits programs.

About the Role

This is a Direct Hire/Permanent position with a standard Monday - Friday schedule from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR role, proficiency in Paylocity or ADP, and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage employee relations by addressing concerns and resolving conflicts to maintain a positive workplace culture.
  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless transition for new hires and departing employees.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Administer PTO, FMLA, and disability pay processes efficiently.
  • Develop and implement effective employee benefits programs that meet the needs of our workforce.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to conduct talent acquisition efforts, including screening and interviewing candidates.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR role with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in Paylocity or ADP, with experience in benefits administration and compliance a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, such as Business Administration or Organizational Development.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with employees at all levels.
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary based on industry standards and takes into account the location, job responsibilities, and required qualifications.
